‘Bitesize' Buzz

16 September 2016

An invited selection of Scotland's top business leaders and climate related experts descended on ECCI last Friday for Bitesize - an initiative that aims to get Scotland's business leaders and climate related experts to create a shared agenda of joined up action and common goals.

The invitation-only, full day event on 9 September drew together people from business, academia, the third sector, national and local government. Laurent Fabius, the French lead at Paris COP 2015, was also awarded the Shackleton medal for leadership by the Royal Scottish Geographical Society at a castle reception in the evening.

Look out for outputs and next steps coming soon, including a special edition of The Geographer, an event film and a set of priorities that will feed into the Scottish Government’s Climate Change Plan.
