We are looking to recruit a Knowledge Manager to work within Scotland’s Centre of Expertise on Climate Change.
You will be part of an exciting multi-million pound initiative established in 2011 to provide independent advice, research and analysis to support the Scottish Government and partners as it develops and implements policies on adapting to the changing climate and the transition to a low carbon society.
This post is part of the Centre’s Secretariat team. It will be based at ECCI in Edinburgh, employed by Sniffer and will work closely with other members of the Core Directorate, based at the University of Edinburgh, Aberdeen University and The James Hutton Institute. The post will report to the ClimateXChange Project Manager.
You should have a background in knowledge management and communication, with an understanding of the Scottish climate policy landscape, with a good degree and at least three years relevant work experience. You should have demonstrable project management skills, be a highly effective communicator, and have evidence of innovative thinking under time pressure.
Fixed term: In the first instance, this post is a fixed term appointment until 31 March 2015, but with the expectation of continued funding until at least March 2016 and beyond.
