Following a successful inaugral workshop in Aberdeen, ECCI joined forces with ScotlandIS for the second Low Carbon Special Interest Group meeting on Thursday. The meet ups aim to facilitate interaction and commercial opportunities between Scotland's Software/ICT and Renewable Energy/Low Carbon industries.

As the second in a series of ScotlandIS 'special interest group' meetings on the low carbon economy, this workshop showcased views from applied academics, corporate leaders and from a high-growth Scottish venture - Ewgeco.


    • Insights into how to computer scientists, building engineers and sociologists are practically working on the topic of consumer behaviour change and domestic energy consumption;

    • Views from and access to industry experts; and

    • Network with a community of peers dealing with the same challenge.
