KSB recruiting a sustainable development officer for SSN behaviour change project

19 February 2014

Keep Scotland Beautiful (KSB) has recently secured funding from the Scottish Government to develop and run a new project for public sector organisations on low carbon behaviours. We are looking for a lead sustainable development officer to promote the use of the Scottish Government’s low carbon behaviours framework and the application of the Individual, Social and Materials (ISM) Tool.

The project forms part of the Sustainable Scotland Network (SSN) which is a highly respected sustainable development initiative, working with, and providing support to, professionals in local government and the wider public sector.

This is an exciting new project for KSB and SSN. The project will include the provision of tailored support to local authorities and public sector organisations, including national events, printed and online materials, outreach and direct engagement with public sector organisations. The project will provide facilitated workshops on low carbon behaviours and the ISM tool, and support to help public sector organisations to develop low carbon behaviour action plans.

Reporting to the Sustainability & Climate Change Manager, the Sustainable Development Officer (Low Carbon Behaviours) will be the lead development officer on the new SSN project on low carbon behaviours and the ISM Tool.
