Big Data 'Low Carbon Challenge' to be launched at Low Carbon Innovation Project final event – April 29th at ECCI
01 April 2015
ECCI’s flagship four-year Low Carbon Innovation project, specially commended by the Scottish Government as a key contributor to the achievement of the 2020 Climate Change targets, comes to an end this May.
The event will also kick off the 2020 Climate Group’s Low Carbon Challenge - challenging individuals and businesses to design innovative solutions to unlock and utilise the big data to help address the challenges of low carbon/climate change.
Sponsored and judged by an impressive selection of industry champions, SME’s are invited to formulate ideas to develop digital solutions i.e. apps/websites/product concepts to help meet the industry challenges set.
The LCI project was a key building block in ECCI’s early development, providing the core funding and staff to take the Edinburgh Centre for Climate Change (as it was originally called) from a good idea, to the bustling hub of ideas, innovations and innovators it is today.
