(Presentations and discussion followed by networking drinks)

ECCI’s flagship four-year Low Carbon Innovation project, specially commended by the Scottish Government as a key contributor to the achievement of the 2020 Climate Change targets, comes to an end this May.

The LCI project was a key building block in ECCI’s early development, providing the core funding and staff to take the Edinburgh Centre for Climate Change (as it was originally called) from just a good idea in the heads of a group of innovative, impact focused academics, to the bustling hub of ideas, innovations and innovators it is now.

Over the four years ECCI’s team engaged with over 1000 organisations to create new low carbon products & services and millions of pounds of turnover for the Scottish economy and help transform the low carbon innovation landscape.

  • Find out out the low carbon innovation landscape has transformed over the past 5 years.

  • Hear how we engaged with over 1000 SMEs to create new low carbon products & services and millions of pounds of turnover for the Scottish economy.

  • Learn from a selection of our supported low carbon businesses, social enterprises and networks about their successes, their challenges, future requirements and key learnings.

  • Join us to discuss how we can keep working together to create a robust low carbon future, provide ongoing SME support and how this fits with Scotland's future funding.
