Could one of these businesses be a VIBES award winner?

11 May 2012

ECCI HQ was a hub of activity last night as 40 or so prospective winners of a VIBES green business award decended on 15 South College St.

Each came to find out from VIBES judges and previous applicants how to be succesful in the competition, with some invaluable extra tips from double winners (2009 & 2011) Rabbies Small Group Tours and guest speaker Hazel Syme, Sales Manager.

If you couldn't make it to the event in Edinburgh there are still few local area VIBES launches planned throughout May: http://www.vibes.org.uk/guest-posts/attend-your-local-vibes-launch-event.

Or alternatively use VIBES fantastic online resource, with lots of tips from judges and previous winners: http://www.vibes.org.uk.

This year ECCI is sponsoring the ‘Best Management’ award in the small and medium enterprise category and in addition to sponsoring the SME award, the Edinburgh Centre is also offering a half-day of free support to successful applicants in each of the award categories. The successful candidates will receive expert advice from one of ECCI’s three Business Managers, whom each have a particular focus and knowledge of two main ‘low carbon cluster areas’. These include: Carbon Finance, Carbon Accounting, Green ICT, Built Environment & Renewables, Sustainable Transport and Land Use, Water and Waste.
