Ciara manages ClimateXChange’s projects across energy, transport and the built environment. She provides monthly updates on climate change and energy policy and research, and leads on impact and annual reporting.
Before joining ClimateXChange, Ciara was Operations Manager at the UK Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Research Centre. She helped to deliver a coordinated programme of CCS research and develop sustainable research capacity on the issue. This involved leading the CCS Community Network and delivering support and training to early career researchers.
Ciara has also worked as a Research Officer at the Mary Robinson Foundation - Climate Justice. She managed the organisation's work on food and nutrition security and climate change.
She also has experience as an Account Manager for the Carbon Trust and as Environmental Manager for a low carbon cement manufacturer.
Ciara holds an undergraduate degree in botany and a Masters in environmental science from Trinity College Dublin.
