Joseph provides expert scientific advice on climate change as part of the Adaptation Scotland team, employed through ECCI.
His work includes supporting and developing the effective use of climate information in research and decision-making. He leads on providing guidance and training on climate change adaptation in Scotland. He also coordinates the Adaptation Learning Exchange, which brings together a diverse range of practitioners working on adaptation.
Before this, Joseph worked as a Senior Climate Change Data Analyst for the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.
Joseph holds a Masters degree in geography from the University of Auckland and a PhD in geosciences from the University of Edinburgh.
