Kate manages ClimateXChange projects across the economy, business and industry portfolio.
She is a geographer by training, and holds a PhD in Human Geography from the School of geosciences at the University of Edinburgh. Kate has a background in university teaching and academic research in global sustainable development.
Before joining ClimateXChange, Kate was a Lecturer in Global Development at the Open University where she taught Masters students and researched blue economy policies in Mozambique, and research co-ordinator at the University of Edinburgh focussing on innovations in distance education.
