Bank of England speech: Managing the impact of climate change

Sarah Breeden, the Bank of England's Executive Director for UK Deposit Takers Supervision and Executive Sponsor for Climate Change, will explain the importance of scenario analysis for understanding and measuring the financial risks to the system and lay out how we plan to proceed with the updated NGFS scenarios – initiatives which explore the transition and physical impacts of climate change under varying assumptions.
This event will take place in conjunction with the University of Edinburgh and is introduced by Professor Peter Mathieson, Principal and Vice-Chancellor.
