Presented by ECCI residents Sniffer
Following many fruitful months of research, collaboration and engagement, Adaptation Scotland is pleased to be launching its Community Climate Adaptation Routemap, a practical guide for communities to adapt to climate change.
Whatever kind of community you are, there are things you can do to build resilience and prepare for climate change and at the same time make your place healthier, safer and more comfortable to live in for human and other creatures alike. This event will be valuable for anyone who would like to:
Sniffer will share this innovative resource which they have produced through the Adaptation Scotland programme in collaboration with Highlands and Islands Climate Hub, the Development Trusts Association Scotland (DTAS), North East Scotland Climate Action Network (NESCAN Hub), and the Scottish Communities Climate Action Network (SCCAN).
This self-directed Routemap is set to be shared with thousands of organisations across Scotland, including community groups, local government officials, charities, and regional bodies. Join the team who have shaped this, to learn how to make use of this resource for your place, community or organisation.
The launch will be held online on the 16 March from 3-4pm and facilitated by the lead authors Iryna Zamuruieva and Aoife Hutton, Climate Resilience Managers at Sniffer. There will be a contribution from the partner organisations and opportunity for audience questions.
