As COP 30 unfolds in Belém, the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute (ECCI) and the Edinburgh Earth Initiative (EEI) invite students, researchers, and colleagues to engage with the global climate negotiations here in Edinburgh.
Through COP Café, running during COP 30 from 10–21 November, the ECCI Café will host live screenings, expert discussions, and interactive pop-up events exploring how international climate goals connect with local research, education, and action.

A live, informal panel discussion aimed at answering questions about the annual climate summit and the events unfolding at COP 30 - featuring MSc Climate Change Management academics and students, climate experts and COP veterans.
With Chair Dr Adam P Hejnowicz, Programme Director MSc in Climate Change Management and MSc Climate Management Student Sasa Wanodyaning Salsabila, Earth Fellow Howard Mwesigwa and Mastercard Foundation Scholars Michael Akinsuyi and Kadija Kamara.
A lively afternoon of discussion and collaboration as the world gathers for COP30 in Belém, Brazil. Hear from Sian Henley, Iain McNicol, and Anne Marte Bergseng, and take part in conversations on amplifying local voices in global negotiations.
