EIE is an Investor Readiness Programme that offers the most advanced start-ups and scale-ups the opportunity to undergo an intensive programme to make them investor ready. This programme culminates at a technology investor showcase, bringing together our cohort of incredible companies with international investors.

At the yearly conference attendees have the opportunity to hear this year's cohort make their pitches for investment. Plus:

• network with fellow investors and entrepreneurs;
• meet up to 50 pitching companies seeking investment;
• hear from industry thought leaders through our carefully selected keynotes;
• experience the vibrant tech scene and ecosystem that is putting Scotland on the map for technology innovation.

At the International Market Square, there is a wide variety of businesses present, with networking opportunities and an AI driven curated matchmaking service.

Internationally renowned speakers from government, business and the tech sector are all a part of EIE, offering keynote, fireside and in depth conversations, to deal with some of the most pressing issues facing our sectors today.

EIE is delivered by The Bayes Centre, the University of Edinburgh’s innovation hub for data science and artificial intelligence.
