Hosted at ECCI
Presented by Scottish Enterprise.
Scottish Enterprise hosts a webinar to provide an introduction to the "HotScot" Minewater Geothermal funding bid.
The HotScot consortium recently won early stage funding from the UKRI Strength in Places fund to develop a proposal to tap into the geothermal energy contained within disused, flooded coal mines in Scotland.
If the proposal is successful, the consortium will develop at least three new mine-water geothermal heating/cooling/thermal energy storage sites in the Central Belt.
Webinar speakers will include Prof. Zoe Shipton, University of Strathclyde, and Paul Steen, Ramboll.
