Panel Discussion - Travelling for business?

How workplace decisions impact on our individual carbon emissions

Carbon emissions from travel, especially from air travel, are becoming more widely deliberated across our society. As companies and organisations becomes more international, travel is seen as an integral tool for success.

Join panellists for a discussion exploring the impact that the growth in travel for work and study has on our personal carbon emissions. The discussion will also examine how individuals and organisations can reduce their travel emissions without negatively impacting on organisational growth or personal career prospects.

Panellists:

  • Anna Hughes from the FlightFree 2020
  • Dr Sarah Ivory from the University of Edinburgh Business School
  • Parke Wilde co-lead of the Academic Flying Blog (joining via video stream from the USA)
  • Scott Dalgleish from the Scottish Business Network
