Re-thinking climate risk and adaptation through heritage: local narratives

Share global lessons and recommendations for heritage and climate change studies for adaptation

Join this networking lunch and the presentation of key findings from a jointly funded UK Arts and Humanities Research Council and Department of Culture, Media and Sports research project examining the role of cultural heritage in climate risk and adaptation in Sri Lanka, Indonesia and South Africa.

Hear from the three country research teams and then contribute towards the development of a research road map for better understanding the diversity of voice for heritage and climate studies that will directly feed into a policy brief and UK government workstream on heritage and disaster management.

A networking lunch and tea provided.
