SCCS Annual Conference 2023

Featuring a range of expert speakers from academia, industry, government and policy making, this year’s Scottish Carbon Capture and Storage conference will open a dialogue between different CCS methods. Delegates will discuss their funding, policy and business model requirements and explore their specific benefits, attractiveness to investors, cost to operate, storage effectiveness and permanence. 

With a secretariat based at ECCI, Scottish Carbon Capture and Storage (SCCS) is the largest carbon capture and storage (CCS) research group in the UK. SCCS provides a single point of coordination for CCS research, from carbon capture engineering and geoscience to social perceptions and environmental impact through to regulation and economics.
