Scottish Transport Show

Edinburgh

The first Scottish Transport Show.

The Scottish Transport Show is a first for Scotland. It brings together all parts of the Scottish transport industry and the transport supply chain for a day of networking, sharing of knowledge and innovation ideas in Masterclasses and at the Knowledge Hub and also has an all-day exhibition featuring 100 exhibitors.

Organisers are also inviting participation of transport-related innovation proposals in the Show. Pitches can come from any kind of project, organisation or individual - in the private, public or third sectors.

Pitching

All that participants have to do is pitch their proposal in four minutes to a judging panel in the Show’s open Knowledge Hub. Part of the Show is an all-day ‘Knowledge Hub’ which will feature six differently themed discussion sessions.

The Quickfire presentations will last four minutes each and will be pitched to a panel of three judges. There will be four minutes to pitch, two minutes for questions and then we move on to the next presenter.

At the conclusion of the session the judges will choose their winning presentation. This is an opportunity to have a transport related project, policy innovation or product showcased in front of a large transport and transport supply-chain audience. The Show already has over 600 delegates signed up to attend.

All Quickfire presenters will also have the opportunity to take an exhibition space at the Show free of charge, giving another opportunity to raise profile and to network.

To apply to participate in the Quickfire session all we require is a name, contact details and a single paragraph about the proposal to be pitched. Projects should also indicate whether they intend to pitch in the session on ‘Transforming Scottish Transport Now’ or in ‘Transforming Scottish Transport by 2050’.
