Transformative Pedagogies for a Sustainable Future

A one-day workshop about a sustainable future for all to commemorate the life of a late friend and colleague, Dr Rachel Howell.

This workshop takes as its starting point the spirit of Rachel’s passion for social science research to understand and inform wider changes in society and policy that bring about a sustainable future for all. There will be three sessions: i) Teaching sustainability at Universities ii) Teaching sustainability in communities and iii) Educating for policy. Each will begin with a short talk from invited speakers followed by discussion.
