Part of the UK Universities COP26 Climate Innovation Showcase.
Join the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), its Postgraduate Institute for Measurement Science, the Universities of Bristol, Edinburgh and Royal Holloway as they explore the critical role measurement plays in understanding and responding to climate change.
NPL (the UK’s National Metrology Institute) and University Partners across the UK, particularly through the Detection and Attribution of Regional greenhouse gas Emissions (DARE-UK) project and UK-DECC Network funded by NERC and BEIS, are working on the science to provide confidence in delivering accuracy and reliability to greenhouse gas emissions estimates, that governments, regulators and industry can rely on. This live on-line seminar will feature some of the very latest research through a series of short talks and panel debate with speakers from the Met Office, Ricardo, Airbus and NPL providing delegates with the chance to quiz the experts about future science directions.
