Congratulations to all new GeoSciences MSc graduates!
Around 350 MSc graduates of the School of GeoSciences were formally given their MSc degrees last week, with an excellent attendance in the McEwan Hall by students, their families and staff.
Those celebrating their acheivements included a record 62 Carbon Management graduates from both the online and on-campus programmes.
Both Carbon Management MSc programmes are hosted by ECCI, alongside a range of postgraduate courses designed to help build a zero carbon society.
Director of Postgraduate Teaching in the School of GeoSciences at the University of Edinburgh and Programme Director for MSc Carbon Management, Dr Simon Shackley, said:
“We are proud to have graduated yet another group of excellent students who I am sure will go out into the wider world and make a huge difference."
“It's long been my view that our biggest impact as a University is not via academic research but through the multiplier effect of our students, especially postgraduate students for GeoSciences.” Programme Director for MSc Carbon Management, Dr Simon Shackley
