Powering Futures at ECCI
ECCI had the pleasure of hosting an inspiring programme of Powering Futures final presentations last week, with 60+ vibrant young innovators from 14 school teams showcasing their creative solutions to real-world challenges in our Edinburgh HQ.
Each team worked hard to impress the 12 professional judges brought together from across the business and climate sector, including ECCI judges Ruth Wolstenholme, from resident organisation Verture, and Climate Partnerships Project Officer, Sarah Bissett, who congratulated the students on doing an "amazing job!".
Working towards an SCQF level 6, the school age innovators presented sustainable solutions to the housing crisis, homelessness and the lack of engagement young people have with the natural environment.
A huge well done to all the students who took part - we look forward to seeing your ideas take off...and hope to see you back at ECCI in the not to distant future!
