Scottish Climate Intelligence Service second Annual Impact Report (2025-26)
ECCI colleagues Scottish Climate Intelligence Service have published their second Annual Impact Report (2025-26) and latest blog post.
The Scottish Climate Intelligence Service (SCIS) works with all of Scotland’s local authorities to help deliver climate action at the scale and pace needed to deliver Scotland's Climate Change Plan. SCIS is being delivered in partnership by ECCI and the Improvement Service, jointly funded by Scottish Government and all 32 local authorities.
Highlights from SCIS second year of impactful work include:
- 100% of Scottish councils involved
- 129 local authority officers engaged, 25% more than year one
- 40+ socialisation sessions delivered to 25 councils to engage beyond climate change teams
- 6 residential heat Transition Pathway workshops, supporting councils to identify place-based transition targets and necessary tempo of delivery to meet them.
- 3 local authorities published their ClimateView dashboards.
