Scottish Climate Intelligence Service hits the road

The Scottish Climate Intelligence Service will be travelling to Glasgow, Inverness and Edinburgh in March to introduce their work to local authorities in a series of roadshows.

The roadshows are in-person events designed for senior managers, climate change teams and officers from service areas across local government who can benefit from the programme.

The events will provide attendees with a chance to meet the SCIS and ClimateView teams and connect with other local authority colleagues who are also integrating the ClimateView platform into their net zero decision-making. The SCIS team will also provide an overview of work to date, demonstrate the benefits of the platform and go into more detail on priorities and practicalities.

The roadshow will be delivered in three locations on three separate dates, with the same runtime (10am-4.30pm) and agenda at each event. Please confirm your attendance by signing up to the Eventbrite page for your chosen event:

Glasgow: Thursday 13th March  (sold out)

Inverness: Monday 17th March Link to Sign Up

Edinburgh: Tuesday 18th March Link to Sign Up

Each local authority can have up to five representatives attend. Please coordinate with colleagues where possible to ensure you are attending the same roadshow event and remember that individual registration is required for all attendees.

The Scottish Climate Intelligence Service is working with all of Scotland’s local authorities to help deliver climate action at the scale and pace needed to deliver Scotland's Climate Change Plan. By working within and across local authorities, the SCIS encourages collaboration and helps to share skills, knowledge, insights and common approaches which support and accelerate effective local climate action.
