Join ECCI's Innovation Team

Two exciting roles have arisen with ECCI's Innovation and Skills team based in Edinburgh. Help deliver groundbreaking projects and kick-start new ideas through ECCI's Climate KIC partnership.

ECCI is the official Scottish partner of EIT Climate-KIC, Europe’s largest climate innovation initiative. We give low carbon start-ups funding and support to build rock-solid business models and take their target markets by storm. Our Innovation Team works with entreprenuers and start-ups to build and scale excellent low carbon ideas.

The opportunity

We are recruiting two roles - a Head of Innovation & Skills and an Innovation Project Manager. These critical roles will help shape and deliver our Climate KIC programme through 2019.

Head of Innovation & Skills will lead the development and implementation of a sustainable business model which will maximise ECCI’s impact in low carbon skills and innovation and position ECCI as a global leader in the field. This role will develop an effective ecosystem which enables low carbon innovation and build a sustainable portfolio for developing low carbon skills and talent.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 10 years experience of co-developing learning and development programmes to meet both business and academic requirements. A detailed understanding of the needs and priorities of large and small businesses through business counselling and experience of developing and delivering business support processes to enable change.

Innovation Project Manager will work with the Climate-KIC funded Accelerator and other related Climate KIC programmes to manage a wide portfolio of related projects within the Innovation & Skills Team and help realise synergies between key projects.

The post-holder will also be expected to contribute to the development of future projects, partnerships and proposals which support ECCI's strategy and growth. In particular to support the development of our international partnerships across Europe and in China.
