A discussion forum for anyone working on or researching climate change adaptation.
A discussion forum for anyone working on or researching climate change adaptation.
The ECCI Adaptation CoP is a discussion forum for anyone working on, or researching, climate change adaptation. This includes: private sector, public sector, policy-makers and researchers.
While most of our members are Scotland based, we invite those working in adaptation from anywhere in the world to join us.
We meet on the first Thursday of the month, 11am - 12noon, usually online and sometimes at ECCI.
Meetings will usually be around a specific topic such as adaptation finance or adaptation targets or focused on a particular hazard e.g. heatwaves.
In some meetings, we will invite a speaker and then open the discussion and in others, we simply discuss our thoughts on a particular topic.
Members are always welcome to present their work or thoughts on a topic for input from the group, recommend speakers/topics for discussions or simply join and listen in to the discussions – the group is a safe, open space to discuss challenges and opportunities in the adaptation sector and to share knowledge, learning and resources.
Get in touch with ECCI - or our co-chairs Anne Marte Bergseng and Emma Yule - if you would like to find out more.
