Alreem works within the Climate Partnership team at ECCI, specializing in projects aimed at analysing carbon footprints, conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), and addressing various environmental concerns to help meet climate targets through various activities - identifying opportunities for reducing emissions and enhancing sustainability across different sectors.
Alreem recently completed a Masters in Energy, Society & Sustainability at the University of Edinburgh, and has a previous background in Geoscience, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, and GIS. Utilising these backgrounds, she assesses and quantifies the greenhouse gas emissions associated with various activities, products, or processes and can use satellite imagery and other geospatial data to monitor environmental/urban changes and identify patterns at various scales. This expertise proves invaluable in understanding the impacts of human activities on the Earth's systems and forming decisions.
Driven by a genuine concern for the environment and a desire to contribute to a more sustainable future, she combines her technical acumen with a strong ethical foundation to create a positive impact, helping organizations and individuals through the Climate Partnerships team to make informed decisions to reduce their carbon footprints and promote a more sustainable society.
