Jamie is an anthropologist with a research focus on environmental values and energy ethics. She conducted her doctoral research on climate and religious education at a folk high school in southeastern Norway and is currently developing an ethnographic research project exploring Norwegian Lutheran programming in North Sea oil.
She works with Climate Springboard supporting research that examines how SMEs and heat providers are working toward net zero goals in Scotland. She employs creative and multimodal methods in her research and is the leader of the band Cape Wrath.
