Vivian was formally a researcher in the School of GeoSciences focussing on Net Zero pathways and policies.
He now works for the UK’s Climate Change Committee, the UK’s statutory independent advisory body on climate change, and continues to support the teaching and research at the ECCI.
ECCI's visiting academics and honorary fellows are leaders in climate change research, policy and practice in Scotland, the UK and globally. They contribute to the climate work of ECCI, the School of Geosciences and the wider University through forging new connections and collaborations, and through providing expert advice and support.
