Jamies is Programme Director for the ECCI-hosted online Carbon Management MSc and PGCerts postgraduate courses at the University of Edinburgh.
Apart from a brief interlude working for a conservation charity, James has been at the University of Edinburgh since 2012.
He has a background in forestry and plant ecology and focused on climate change impacts on woodland habitats for his PhD.
James has also worked on adaptation strategies for conservation habitats, climate change scenario development, ecosystem services and more recently has started teaching an MSc course on Nature-based Solutions.
