Working closely with the Director, Lucy supports the strategic planning, delivery, and evaluation of the Edinburgh Earth Initiative. She leads the development and implementation of the Initiative’s strategic plan, provides leadership and management to the staff team, and oversees the delivery of high-priority programmes.
Lucy has extensive experience in strategic and operational leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the design and delivery of international education, research, and social development partnerships and programmes. Her experience has been gained through roles with the British Council, the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), working across the UK, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and South Asia. Throughout her career, she has worked with governments, universities and civil society organisations, to develop collaborative programmes that address complex social and developmental challenges.
