Maja works as a Data Officer for the Scottish Climate Intelligence Service, helping local authorities build a better understanding of area-wide emissions to provide evidence for targeted interventions and drive climate action across Scotland.
She is interested in systems-thinking approaches to climate solutions that deliver dual mitigation and adaptation benefits for wider landscape level resilience. Prior to her role at SCIS she worked in resilience planning for the water sector in Scotland and in the wildlife conservation and regenerative agriculture sectors in Canada and the USA.
She holds an MSc in Disaster Risk Management & Climate Change Adaptation from Lund University in Sweden, and a BA in Environment and Geography from McGill University in Canada.
