Prof Patrick Meir is Personal Chair in Ecosystem Science, School of Geosciences, University of Edinburgh (ECCI Associate)
He is also Director of the Centre for the study of Environmental Change and Sustainability (CECS), School of Geosciences.
Prof Meir’s research interests span Ecosystem science, including forests and global change; carbon-water-biodiversity-land use relationships of plants, soils and ecosystems; tropical and temperate forests, and their roles in the Earth system and society.
