CXC Job vacancy: Communications Manager
Flagship ECCI programme ClimateXChange is looking for a dynamic communications manager with a passion for science communications and knowledge exchange, and a flair for telling powerful impact stories.
The post-holder will join the busy ClimateXChange (CXC) team to manage the communications team, and plan and deliver communications and engagement activities across all our projects connecting climate change research and policy.
The role works at a strategic level with responsibility for developing and implementing CXC’s communications strategy and events portfolio aimed at improving CXC’s impact and profile in Scotland and beyond.
The post-holder will play a critical role in delivering the ClimateXChange programme, currently scheduled to run from April 2025-March 2026.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Strong communications strategy experience
- A track record of writing and editing for a policy audience
- Experience of working across a range of communications channels
- Ability to lead on planning, running and reporting from a range of events
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, CXC are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. CXC are also open to requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
The salary for this post is £40,497 – £48,149 per annum, pro rata if part time.
