Aileen works as a Data Officer in the Scottish Climate Intelligence Service within the Climate Partnerships team, helping local authorities build a better understanding of their emissions, ultimately driving policy efficiencies and climate action within Scotland.
She has recently completed a masters in carbon management from Edinburgh university with a focus on carbon accounting.
Having worked across Scotland as a veterinary surgeon she has a particular interest in assessing the challenges faced by rural areas and supporting a place based approach to target setting and emission reductions.
The Scottish Climate Intelligence Service (SCIS) works with all of Scotland’s local authorities to help deliver climate action at the scale and pace needed to deliver Scotland's Climate Change Plan.
The SCIS is being delivered in partnership by ECCI and the Improvement Service, jointly funded by Scottish Government and all 32 local authorities.
