Kristina works as a Space Sector Lead at the University of Edinburgh, supporting academic colleagues who operate within the space and satellites sphere to showcase their excellent research and work with industrial partners. Kristina’s role is uniting all researchers with expertise and interest in space and satellites and then commercialising that research, ensuring Intellectual Property from Universities gets into industry. All this activity is delivered under the Space Innovation Hub, with a core team supporting the work.
Kristina is also the Innovation Adviser for the SPRINT programme, a Copernicus Relay as part of the European Commission network of Copernicus ambassadors and Co-chairs the Environmental Task Force for the Space Scotland. Kristina utilises her 10+ year of commercial experience from a range of career paths and sectors and a true passion and drive for the space sector in the UK.
